202 Historic Entrance at the New Jersey/Pennsylvania state line

Timothy Reichard 3/12/03

US 202 used to cross the Delaware River directly from New Hope, PA to Lambertville, NJ. The US 202 bypass was finished in 1975, and the old alignment and bridge (shown here) became PA 179 and NJ 179.

Timothy Reichard 3/12/03

PA 179 becomes NJ 179 on the east end of the bridge and immediately meets Main Street (NJ 29) in Lambertville.
