119 Historic Entrance at the New York/Pennsylvania state line

US 119 originally crossed the New York/Pennsylvania border on the bypassed part of US 219/Main Street in Tuna Creek, north of Bradford.

Northbound on US 119 at its northern end. US 119's two lanes split to form a triangle at the intersection.

Southbound on US 219 at the beginning of US 119. US 119 originally was the through route, extending northward to New York, but US 219 took over before the 1920s had passed. This old routing may be the reason that the transition from US 219 south to US 119 south here is a straight line, even though US 119 is technically the side road.
